As many of you know, part of our commitment at CharlesWorks is to maintain transparency and honesty in all our communications. Today, I want to discuss some price adjustments and changes in our pricing structure. These are directly influenced by factors beyond our control in the recent months.
Navigating Economic Changes
Recent months have brought widespread increases in utility costs, such as electricity and propane. Price adjustments seems the norm rather than the anomaly. Additionally, there are rising prices for equipment and parts essential to our hosting infrastructure. Consequently, these changes impact the way businesses, including ours, operate and maintain the level of service expected by our valued clients.
Modest Price Adjustments for Sustainable Service
It has been over two decades since we last adjusted the prices on our email packages or domain names. However, due to the increased costs mentioned, we find ourselves in a position where we must make modest increases to continue providing you with the quality of service you deserve. Here’s what to expect:
- Email Packages: Monthly charges will increase by $1.
- Microsoft Office Products: Monthly charges will increase by $1.
- Annual Domain Name Prices: Will increase by $2. This equates to only about 17 cents per month.
Holding the Line Where We Can
Importantly, we want to assure you that there will be no increases in monthly hosting charges and our labor costs will remain unchanged at $99 per hour, still billable by the minute. This means quick updates or changes to your site, often taking between 10 to 25 minutes, will cost approximately $16.50 to $41.25, with efforts made to address these needs promptly within three working days.
Our Commitment Remains Strong
We are striving to absorb as many of the increased costs as possible to minimize the impact on you, our clients. There will be no change to our monthly hosting fees or our labor rates, which is a testament to our commitment to your business and our service ethos.
We understand that any price increase is not welcome news, and it’s a decision we have not made lightly. We’ve taken great care to ensure that our adjustments are as minimal as possible. They reflect only the necessary changes to cover increased operational costs.
Looking Forward
We remain dedicated to providing you with exceptional service and support. Our team continues to explore every avenue to optimize our operations and keep your costs low without compromising on quality.
Thank you for your understanding and continued partnership. It is your support that makes CharlesWorks not just a provider, but a community. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve you every day.
Warm regards,
Charles
