- On your computer, sign in to the Gmail account you want to import to.
- In the top right, click Settings, which is a gear icon, then See all settings.
- Click the Accounts and import tab.
- In the “Check mail from other accounts” section, click Add a mail account.
- Type the email address of the other account, then click Next.
- Select Import Emails.
- Type your password.
- Recommended: Check the boxes next to the options below:
- “Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail”
- “Label incoming messages”
- Leave a copy of messages on the server
- If you need passwords or server information, please let us know and we can provide you what you need.
- Click Add Account.
This method will only check the mail account’s inbox. You will still have to log into your mail server to check the spam folders and mark things as not spam. For more information on marking email as not spam, please refer to our Spam Email Tutorial
