When you first start adding the SmarterMail email account to your mobile device, you’ll want to select the ‘Other’ option from the type of accounts. Usually “Other” is a choice among Microsoft, Exchange, AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, etc.
From there, just plug in this info into the appropriate fields and you should be good to go:
Incoming Server Settings:
- username (the full email address you’re trying to add in lower case)
- password (case sensitive)
- mega.charlesworks.com
- port 993
- SSL applied/ticked
Outgoing Server Settings:
- username (again, the full email address you’re trying to add in lower case)
- password (case sensitive)
- mega.charlesworks.com
- port 465
- SMTP authentication applied/ticked
- SSL applied/ticked
- Authentication – password
Remember that anywhere the device requires a “Username”, it’s looking for your full email address in lower case. The most common error (and some devices default to this when entering the information) is only having the part of the email address in front of the “@” symbol as the username.
Make sure to check your spelling.
