Our founder, Charles Oropallo, had a vision: to provide reliable and affordable hosting solutions. Charles, a pioneer in computer-based communications and information sharing, authored and implemented an online Bulletin Board System (BBS) called Access-80 back in November 1977. Fast forward to June 15, 1998, and CharlesWorks was born out of this passion for connectivity and accessibility.

We first achieved accreditation on November 17, 2017. We’re really proud to be celebrating this significant milestone with our web clients. And just as proud to reflect on our continued commitment to providing excellent service and upholding the highest standards of ethical business practices.

Some of our Goals

Since establishing CharlesWorks on June 15, 1998, we have always placed a strong emphasis on providing our web clients with the highest level of service. Achieving BBB accreditation five years ago was a reflection of our dedication to our web clients, as well as our commitment to transparency and trustworthiness with them.

Maintaining our A+ rating for five years is a testament to our commitment to providing excellent service to our web clients. BBB ratings represent the BBB’s opinion of how a business is likely to interact with its web clients. Our A+ rating indicates that we have a strong track record of providing excellent service and upholding the highest standards of ethical business practices.

BBB accreditation offers numerous benefits for our web clients. It provides valuable information about our business, including a summary of our services, our history, and web client reviews. Additionally, the BBB offers dispute resolution services for web clients who have a complaint against a business. If a web client is unable to resolve a dispute directly with us, they can file a complaint with the BBB, which will work with both parties to try to reach a resolution.

Being accredited by the BBB also establishes credibility with potential web clients. By displaying the BBB logo on our website and marketing materials, we signal to potential web clients that we are committed to ethical business practices and providing a high level of service.
